Martlet's Fun Adventure is the simple and fun family-friendly platformer fanhack of Sonic the Hedgehog 1 on the Sega Master System, starring Martlet from Undertale Yellow, where nobody has to die! (Except pretzels. Loooots of tasty pretzels.)

Very cute demo! Waterfall boss was slightly annoying but its basically the "final boss" for now so hard to complain, might just be a skill issue. Hope to see it finished one day!
I'm definitely intending to finish this someday - Just a lot of projects and personal issues at the moment.
I'm curious, what is modding Sonic 1 SMS like? Are you using a disassembly, or a hex editor? Asking because I might get into Sonic ROM Hacking
There is a feature-complete editor out there for use called STH1ED I think is what its called? You do need some hex tweaks. Once I come back to this I will probably switch to the Sonic 2 8-bit engine, we'll see.
Hi! I just finished playing Martlet's Fun Adventure, and I LOVE it! I really like the graphics, the animations, but most of all, the soundtrack of this game, it fits perfectly with the graphics! It took me like 1h to finish it bcz I looked in every lvl for any secrets and bcz I lost all my lives at the 2nd boss and had to start all over again. Anyways, since this is just the demo version, I'd rate it a 10/10! It's really well made!
